Lushoto is one of the areas in Tanzania still covered with vast natural forests. Every effort is done to protect the forests. Above is one of the species locally named 'mzambarau' which produces fruits preferred  by monkeys.

Ooops! we've been working harder to get this lodge on the run before the next peak season.If all goes well, we want to make sure that four tents like the one you see here will be erected to provide accommodation to those visiting Lushoto. The tents will have double bed, tiled floors with an African setting depicting the culture of the people of Lushoto,the Sambaa.
